This is a pattern by Jamie Lomax that I fell in love with. It screams Kit to me.
The kit includes:
2 skeins of Nature Spun Sport and enough Zauberball Strake 6 to make 1 cowl, plus the pattern.
(The pattern is available on Ravelry.)
Here is Jamie's description of the cowl.
This design is inspired by the chilly gray fog, drifting quietly through the pine trees, as your boots crunch across the freshly fallen snow. Perfectly Pacific Northwest, this intricate design provides a balanced mixture of colorwork and texture, inspiring knitters to learn new techniques will getting into the winter mood.
The Sitka Spruce Cowl is a stranded colorwork infinity cowl. (It is knit in the round and seamed together at the end).
Stranded colorwork in the round, reading charts, catching long floats, bobble stitch (optional), Latvian braid, provisional cast on, and Kitchener stitch.
