About this location

Camp duNord is a YMCA camp located about 20 miles outside of Ely, Mn. on Burntside Lake. We've been hosting retreats here for over 20 years and we can't get enough of it. The cabins are beautiful, the building we knit in is beautiful, and the scenery is amazing.

During the retreat we allow for plenty of time to do your own thing. We like to think of our retreats as "Create Your Own". We offer a variety of choices you can pick and choose from, making the retreat exactly what you want it to be. 

Because we have full kitchens, we eat breakfast in our cabins. It makes for a leisurely morning with your cabin mates. 

We usually offer a knitting project, but you can work on anything you want.

We bring a massage therapist to this retreat. His wife is a knitter (lucky us) and he has been with us for about 10 years. He brings his table and his chair so you can get a full on massage, or have him work on your shoulders for 10 minutes 

At the Fall retreat, we bring a yoga teacher (no extra fee). She is also a knitter:) She will lead us in stretches throughout the week-end (no mat needed) . She will also lead a Saturday morning session before breakfast which is optional. 

Cost 

Fall Retreat Cost: 395.00.00. Meals included: Friday Supper, Saturday Lunch and Supper. 

Lodging is also included. At this location we have beautiful cabins that are shared with 4 to 6 people.  If you sign up with a friend(s) you will all be in the same cabin. 

Winter Retreat Cost: 495.00. Meals included: Monday Supper, Tuesday Lunch and Supper, Wednesday Lunch and Supper. Lodging is also included.
