I (Anna) was in the mood for an nice oversized vest, so came up with this. I had been knitting a lot of neck down, raglan sweaters and vests and didn't want that look, so I went back to the 'old' days and wrote it for bottom up. It's plain, it's quick, it's knit with DK weight yarn at 5.25 sts. to 1". I used a size 5 needle. I didn't change needle sizes for the ribbing and it worked fine. You will need a 16" and 32" needle, and some nice yarn and you're all set.
