These soft rubber cords are used for holding stitches to try on a garment or for using the stitches later. The cord is hollow so you can stick a double pointed needle in the end and then knit your stitches off of them. They are a very handy tool to have.
Each tin contains 3 cords, two of them are 42" and one is 100".
