I've been playing with dyeing yarns for about 8ish years. Diane, Heather and I used to have one big dyeing day and crank out sock, dk, and worsted colors.
This year, 2026, I've been in the mood to get more serious about it and am enjoying it a lot.
This sock yarn is a white base that is 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. There are 462 yards in each skein. Enough to make a pair of socks. It knits up at 7-8 sts. to 1" on a size 1ish needle.
