We couldn't pass up this hat living near sooooo many lakes, including Lake Superior, which has Herring in it. The tails coming out the top really puts this hat "over the top" for me.
We used Woolpaka Lite from Cascade Yarns to make this a lightweight, warm, soft hat.
It is designed by Burraknits and you can find the pattern on Ravelry. The pattern is included in the kit and we will pay the designer for the pattern each time a kit sells.
The Kit Includes: enough yarn to make 1 hat and the pattern.
It DOES NOT Include: needles, buttons for eyes (the pattern is written for using duplicate stitch for the eyes).
Needles Used: size 4 for the brim, size 5 for the body of the hat.
