Heather found this pattern and I couldn't resist. I love the stripes, the construction, the yarn, and once in awhile I feel like just knitting garter stitch.
I used our new DK weight yarn Tinde from Hillesvag Mill in Norway. It's a really nice, somewhat rustic, but not too scratchy yarn. The colors are all heathers, which I love. It was definitely the right choice for this Shawl.
The kit contains: Enough yarn to make one shawl in the colorway shown in the photo, and the pattern.
I used the size 8 needle, which the pattern suggests, and was a little loose on gauge. I got more like 16 sts. to 4" in garter stitch. I like the looseness of it.
