Heartbeat Felted Mittens
What’s next now that you can knit hats and scarves. How about learning to knit mittens and do colorwork? This mitten is perfect for both.
They a bulky yarn (or 2 strands of worsted held together). You will learn to do Latvian braid, follow a chart for an easy colorwork pattern and learn to do one of the simplest thumbs. Once you have completed your pair, learn to felt the mittens for a really thick and warm winter addition.
They knit up fast and are easy to make creative changes.
MATERIALS:
Bulky or worsted weight yarn in two colors. 155 grams for main color and 25 grams for contrast.
Size 9 Needles, double points or short circulars (12”)
